Copyright and takedowns
How to tell us something on Muzeum infringes your rights, and what we do next.
Version 1.0 · Effective July 20, 2026
The current picture
Muzeum is in founding beta. The media you see today comes from sample collections we curated for the demo — creator publishing is not live yet. Even so, if you believe anything on the Service infringes your rights, we want to hear about it.
How to report infringement
Send a report through the contact form. To help us act quickly, include: the work you hold rights to, the exact link or location on the Service where you saw it, your name and an email address we can reply to, and a statement that you believe in good faith the use is not authorized and that you are the rights holder or authorized to act for them.
What we do with reports
We review copyright reports promptly and aim to respond within a reasonable time. Where a report shows material is infringing, we remove it or disable access to it, and we let the reporter know the outcome.
If your material is removed
If something you submitted is removed and you believe that was a mistake, reply through the contact form and explain why you hold or are licensed the relevant rights. We will review counter-claims in good faith and may restore material where the facts support it.
How this policy will grow
Before creator publishing and paid plans launch, this page will be replaced by a fuller notice-and-takedown process reviewed by counsel, and the version number and effective date above will change.
Report infringement through the contact form. See also our terms of service, privacy policy, and acceptable use policy.
