Frequently asked questions.

Plain answers about what Muzeum is, what works in today's founding beta, and what is still in development. Still curious? Write to us and we will walk you through it.

Product
What is Muzeum?

Muzeum is a cinematic portfolio and client-presentation builder. Instead of a flat grid, your work hangs in a room with light, depth, and pacing — a world a client can enter through a single link. It is being built in the open and is currently in founding beta.

Do I need 3D skills to use it?

No. Scenes are already built and lit. You bring the work; Muzeum handles the room. If you can arrange a slideshow, you can compose a world.

Current beta
What works today?

Two things, honestly: a live demo you can walk through, and a Studio sandbox where you can try scenes with sample collections and adjust them in real time. Sandbox changes save locally in your browser only — there are no accounts yet.

Can I upload my own work yet?

Not self-serve, not yet. Upload and publishing are in development. During the founding beta we work directly with a small group of creators to put their work into scenes — if you want that, apply for the beta or write to us.

What is coming next?

In order of intent: accounts, uploading your own media, publishing public and private links, and client review on those links. We share themes rather than dates because we would rather ship well than promise fast.

Media and devices
What media does Muzeum support?

Images and video — MP4 and WebM — with transparent WebM as a first-class goal, because motion work with alpha deserves better than a black rectangle. Today the sandbox demonstrates this direction with sample collections.

Does it work on phones, keyboards, and reduced motion?

Yes. The demo and sandbox run on modern phones, keyboard navigation is a requirement rather than an afterthought, and a reduced-motion preference calms the camera. The direction for devices without WebGL is a clean 2D index of the same work — never a blank screen.

Ownership and privacy
Who owns the work I show in Muzeum?

You do. Full stop. Muzeum is the room, never the landlord — your work remains yours, and the intent is that you can always take your project and leave with it. We do not train AI models on creator work, and we have no plans to.

How do I delete my data?

Sandbox data lives only in your browser — clear the site data and it is gone. For anything you have sent us, like an application or a message, write to us through the contact page and we will delete it.

Pricing
What does Muzeum cost?

Exploring is free today and nothing can be purchased yet. The paid Creator plan arrives with publishing, at target pricing being validated with founding creators. If you want us to build a founding world with you, reach out and we scope it together.
